Try asking at your grocery store bakery if they would sell you some. I’ve been able to purchase it from mine by the pound, and at a very reasonable price compared to those tiny jars in the spice or baking aisle which are so expensive.

Also some stores also sell already ground poppy seeds mixture, have you ever tried that or the Solo poppyseed in a can filling.

I was very excited to see this recipe as the one I buy in the store is always dry.

I bought mine at Shoppers for around $3 for 12.5 oz. I followed the recipe and ended up with so much dough that I made four loafs using two cans of filling. Next time I will measure half the ingredience for two loafs.
