Welcome to My Kitchen

Hi, I’m Nadia! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a wife, a mother of four precious children, a follower of Jesus, and someone who has loved cooking and baking for as long as I can remember.

For me, food has always been about more than what we put on the table. It’s about family, tradition, creativity, and the joy of making something with your own hands and sharing it with the people you love.

Delights of Culinaria is my place to share that love with you.

Where My Love of Cooking Began

It All Started in My Mother’s Kitchen

I grew up as one of 13 children, and some of my earliest memories of food are from being in the kitchen with my mother. I loved watching her cook and bake, helping whenever I could, and learning simply by being beside her. Our kitchen was a place where food was made from scratch, family gathered together, and there was always something happening. By the time I was seven years old, I was already eager to try cooking for myself. What began as childhood curiosity became a lifelong passion. The older I became, the more I wanted to learn—not only how to make the foods I grew up with, but how to experiment, discover new flavors, and create dishes of my own.

The Recipes I Love to Share

My Russian heritage has a strong influence on the way I cook, so you’ll find many traditional Russian and Ukrainian recipes throughout Delights of Culinaria. These are foods that carry memories, traditions, and flavors that are very special to me—from comforting soups and savory dishes to beautiful cakes and desserts. But I have never wanted my kitchen to stop there.

I love discovering foods from other cultures and experimenting with new ingredients, techniques, and combinations. That’s why you’ll also find recipes inspired by Uzbek, Italian, French, Asian, American, and many other cuisines. Some recipes are traditional. Some have been adapted over time. And some began simply because I had an idea and wanted to see if it would work. That’s one of my favorite things about cooking—you can always learn something new.

Made From Scratch, Shared With Love

Real Recipes From My Family’s Table

Whenever possible, I love using fresh ingredients and making food from scratch. There is something special about taking simple ingredients and turning them into a meal, a loaf of bread, or a beautiful dessert that your family can gather around and enjoy.

The recipes I share here aren’t simply recipes I’ve collected. They are dishes I’ve prepared, tested, adjusted, and shared with my own family and friends. And they have been some of my best taste testers! If a recipe makes its way onto Delights of Culinaria, my hope is that it can become something your family enjoys too.

I want these recipes to feel approachable enough to make in your own kitchen while still giving you the confidence to try something you may never have made before.

Faith, Family & the Heart Behind It All

My faith and my family are at the center of my life. I love Jesus and worship the One and Only true God. I’m incredibly grateful for the family He has given me and for the opportunity to be a wife and mother to four wonderful children. Cooking is one of the many ways I love caring for the people around me.

There is something beautiful about gathering around a table together. Food gives us a reason to slow down, spend time with one another, celebrate, remember where we came from, and create new traditions of our own. Some of my sweetest memories began in my mother’s kitchen. Today, I’m creating those memories with my own family—and sharing a little piece of them with you.
