Some of our sweetest memories are made in the kitchen. For Nadia, that is where her love of cooking began—beside her mother, in the heart of a big family where meals were made from scratch and food was one of the many ways love was shared.
Growing up as one of 13 children, Nadia became interested in cooking and baking at a very young age. She loved watching her mother work in the kitchen, helping wherever she could and learning along the way. By the time she was seven, she was already eager to try things for herself. That childhood curiosity grew into a lifelong passion—and today, Nadia is delighted to welcome you into her own online kitchen.
Welcome to Delights of Culinaria
Delights of Culinaria is more than a collection of recipes. It’s a reflection of Nadia’s family, heritage, faith, creativity, and years spent making food for the people she loves.
Today, Nadia is a wife and mother of four precious children. Her love for Jesus and devotion to her family are at the heart of her life, and the kitchen continues to be one of her favorite places to create, serve, gather, and share.
Here you’ll find recipes passed down through tradition, family favorites that have earned a permanent place at the table, and dishes inspired by Nadia’s curiosity about foods and flavors from around the world. Some recipes are wonderfully familiar. Others may inspire you to try something completely new. And that’s exactly the way Nadia likes it.
Inspired by Family and Tradition
Nadia’s Russian heritage has had a beautiful influence on the way she cooks. Many of the recipes you’ll discover throughout Delights of Culinaria are rooted in the Russian and Ukrainian foods she grew up knowing and loving.
You’ll find comforting dishes such as Ukrainian Borscht, Vareniki with Potato Filling, Lazy Vareniki, and Russian Layered Herring Salad, alongside traditional sweets such as Oreshki Walnut Cookies and the beautifully layered Russian Honey Cake, or Medovik. There are recipes for Kievskiy Cake, Nalisniki with Sweet Cheese and Citrus Blueberry Sauce, marinated vegetables, hearty soups, potato dishes, breads, cakes, and so much more.
For Nadia, sharing these recipes is a way to celebrate the foods and traditions that helped shape her love of cooking while giving others an opportunity to bring those flavors into their own homes.
A Love of Trying Something New
Tradition may have given Nadia her foundation, but curiosity has always kept her cooking. One of her favorite things about being in the kitchen is experimenting.
She loves taking a recipe and making it her own, discovering a new ingredient, trying a dish from another culture, or simply wondering, What would happen if I tried this? That’s why Delights of Culinaria reaches far beyond Russian and Ukrainian cuisine.
Alongside traditional family favorites, you’ll discover recipes influenced by Italian, French, Greek, Asian, Korean, Uzbek, Mexican, American, and many other culinary traditions.
You might find Beef and Chicken Kotleti one day and Almond-Crusted Salmon with Soy Glaze the next. There is BBQ Chicken Pizza, Asian Noodle Salad, Smoked Salmon Carpaccio, homemade guacamole, breakfast favorites, fresh salads, comforting soups, and plenty of dishes created simply because something sounded delicious enough to try.
It’s a collection that has grown naturally over the years—one meal, one experiment, and one happy table at a time.
And There’s Always Room for Dessert
Of course, no visit to Nadia’s kitchen would be complete without something sweet. Baking has been part of Nadia’s passion since childhood, and the dessert collection at Delights of Culinaria has something for just about every occasion.
You’ll find traditional favorites such as Oreshki Walnut Cookies and Medovik, along with Apple Tvorog Crumb Cake, Drunken Cherry Cake, Berry Cake, Berry Cake Roll, Blueberry Lemon Sticky Buns, German Chocolate Cake, Almond Chocolate Coconut Scones, and many more. Some are simple enough to enjoy with a cup of coffee. Others are the kind of beautiful, layered desserts worth setting aside an afternoon to make. But whether she’s preparing something familiar or trying a new idea, Nadia believes there is something special about making food from scratch.
It’s the time, attention, and care behind it that makes it meaningful.
Recipes Shared With Confidence
Every recipe on Delights of Culinaria comes from a real kitchen. Nadia loves experimenting with both her own ideas and recipes that inspire her, but before something becomes part of this collection, it has been prepared, tasted, and enjoyed by the people around her.
Her family and friends have been her most faithful taste testers over the years. Their favorites have become favorites here, too. That’s part of what Nadia hopes makes this website feel different. She doesn’t simply want to give you a list of ingredients and instructions. She wants to share food that has already brought joy to her own table and help you confidently bring it to yours.
Food From Many Places, Shared Around One Table
One of the joys of exploring Delights of Culinaria is seeing just how many different culinary traditions can find a home around the same table. You’ll find Ukrainian classics beside American comfort foods and Russian favorites alongside Asian-inspired dishes. There are Uzbek dishes such as Manti, Lagman, Shurpa, and Somsa, as well as kabobs, salmon, pizzas, salads, breakfast dishes, breads, cakes, and recipes inspired by kitchens from around the world.
For Nadia, there is no need to choose between honoring tradition and discovering something new. There is room for both. A treasured family recipe can connect us to where we came from, while a completely new dish can become tomorrow’s family favorite. That’s part of the beauty of cooking.
Faith, Family, and a Heart for Sharing
Behind Nadia’s love of food is an even deeper love for God and family. She is passionate about Jesus and worships the One and Only true God. Her faith is an important part of who she is and how she approaches her family, her home, and the opportunity to serve others. And food has always had a beautiful way of bringing those things together. A meal gives us a reason to slow down. A table gives us a place to gather. A favorite dish can remind us of childhood, family, home, and people we love. And sometimes something as simple as preparing a meal for another person becomes its own expression of care. That’s the heart Nadia brings to Delights of Culinaria.
A New Home for Years of Recipes
This new website gives Nadia’s growing recipe collection a fresh home and makes it easier to find something delicious to prepare.
You can explore traditional Russian and Ukrainian recipes, discover foods from other cultures, browse breakfast ideas, plan dinner, find a new dessert, or simply look around until something catches your eye.

Maybe Medovik will become the dessert everyone asks you to bring to family gatherings. Or perhaps you’ll discover something you’ve never made before and decide today’s the day to try it. That’s what Nadia hopes this new online kitchen becomes—a place you can return to whenever you need a little inspiration.
