    Large Shrimps Or Prawns
  • 7-8 clove
    Garlic Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 piece
    Red Onion Sliced
  • 1 piece
    Red, Yellow Or Orange Bell Pepper Cut Into Strips
  • 1/2 cup
    White Wine
  • 2/3 cup
    Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 stick
    Butter
  • as needed
    Salt
  • 1/4 cup
    Fresh Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 tbsp
    Olive Oil
  • 1/2 lb
    Capellini Cooked (Or Angel Hair Pasta)

Directions

Thin pasta tossed in a buttery garlic sauce with tender shrimp is one of my favorite Italian dishes. It is simple to prepare, yet elegant enough to serve for a special dinner.

The combination of delicate pasta, garlic, butter, and shrimp creates a flavorful and satisfying dish that comes together beautifully without requiring a lot of time or complicated ingredients.

  • Step 1

    Heat oil in a saute pan on medium heat.

  • Step 2

    Season shrimps with salt and pepper.

  • Step 3

    Add the shrimp and quickly saute in batches until just starting to turn pink, but not cooked through.

  • Step 4

    Remove from the pan and set aside.

  • Step 5

    Add onions and bell peppers to the skillet and saute just until they begin to soften.

  • Step 6

    Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.

  • Step 7

    Add wine and cook for about 3-5 minutes.

  • Step 8

    Add cream and let it simmer for another 3-5 minutes.

  • Step 9

    Add shrimps back to the pan and swirl in the rest of the butter.

  • Step 10

    Season with salt and add Parmesan cheese.

  • Step 11

    Toss the pasta with sauce and serve with Parmesan cheese.
