White chocolate/Chocolate rice krispie clusters combine crispy rice cereal with toasted sunflower seeds and almonds, all coated in melted white or regular chocolate.

Shape the mixture into clusters and chill until firm. For an optional finish, drizzle the chocolate clusters with caramel or white chocolate, or drizzle regular chocolate over white chocolate clusters.

Directions
  • Step 1

Place the crispy rice cereal, toasted sunflower seeds, and toasted slivered almonds in a medium mixing bowl and mix together.

  • Step 2

Melt the white chocolate chips or chocolate chips with the oil over a double boiler, stirring until smooth.

  • Step 3

Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal, nuts, and seeds and mix until everything is evenly coated.

  • Step 4

Line a cookie or baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a spoon or ice cream scoop, portion the mixture into clusters on the prepared sheet.

  • Step 5

Refrigerate the clusters for at least 2 hours, or until completely firm.

  • Step 6

If desired, drizzle caramel or contrasting chocolate over the chilled clusters before serving.
